There are many reasons your actual paycheck may not match the calculator result. Most of the time, errors are related to incorrect number of state or federal allowances entered, or incorrectly entered deductions.
New calculations are added to the calculators as soon as the effective date arrives. We are notified directly by the states in many cases like based on Payment date, if there are new tax tables, we automatically update our system to reflect new values.

Typical Reciprocity pertains to only withholding taxes, it does not pertain to taxes
like FUTA, SUTA, Medicare or FICA taxes.
Over a period of time, these agreements between these state tax authorities do change,
enforcing rules or no longer honor the reciprocal agreements.
